What's Happening at Granite Hill?

Granite Hill Chinooks is happy to announce two successful natural breedings between Maple Lane Amos of GreatMtn and Balsam Ridge Misty Lynne Granite Hill.

Misty is a purebred Chinook and Amos is a 2nd generation cross in the Chinook Breed Conservation Program (CBCP). Their offspring will be eligible to become registered purebred Chinooks with the United Kennel Club (UKC).

Misty loves to play with the youngest puppy in her home (Quimbo). She is a comedian, very friendly and outgoing. Misty loves all people but especially children. Amos best pal is a cat, and he loves his human "grandma." Amos is friendly with other animals he meets. He is an energetic and fun-loving boy who loves running and swimming.

This breeding blends many influential Chinooks across generations from both east and west coast. These ancestors embodied Arthur Walden's goal of creating a "gentleman's sled dog." These pups will carry forward the legacy of athleticism and companionship.

This is a first litter for both Misty and Amos. If pregnant, Misty's puppies would arrive around the 2026 Spring Equinox and be ready to transition to new homes in late May.
