Blue and Tormund's puppies are now with their forever families. Pups are in ME, NH, VT, MA, OR, and CA. ​

Embark results are in and we are delighted with their COIs range from 25%-31%, promising for the purebred eligible generation from the Chinook Breed Conservation Program. Additionally, all pups are clear of MRD1, IVDD, and dwarfism. The puppies had their vet appointment earlier in the week. All were healthy and got their first vaccines. Toby and Tuck's testicles descended by 8 weeks - happy with that news. ​

Barkerville Chinooks produced a litter of five Chinook puppies in Maine on September 12, 2025.
This was Barkerville Cora's second breeding. She was bred with a purebred Chinook, Bashaba Mackenzie Bryson (Bryson) in 2023. This breeding produced 5 healthy pups through vaginal birth without vet intervention. There were 3 females and 2 males in this litter. All three females remain open for breeding.
